The business was started by Julie Stivers in 2010, operating first from her garage and later moving to her home.  The company now owns a commercial building on 4th street in Marysville.  Julie built the business, one client at a time, on the premise of delivering personalized accounting and bookkeeping services.  She believes that while the basic financial needs of businesses are fundamentally the same, each business and each business owner is unique.  This requires accounting and bookkeeping services that can transform to meet those unique needs.  Now, even though Stivers Accounting & Bookkeeping has grown, that same flexibility still exists in every service they offer.
